A Note From Gordon O’Neill
A new year brings new challenges and new opportunities. While economists are serving up different forecasts and predictions – each with a different spin – O’Neill Communications remains bullish for 2010. Here’s why: towards the end of 2009 (a year that most marketers would like to forget) we saw a significant uptick in client projects and new business opportunities.
Some examples:
- One major association client posted its best year ever in terms of membership gains and conference revenue.
- A packaged goods client opened up an entirely new distribution channel with the potential for significant volume pull through.
And this trend continues to into the new year. Just in the last few weeks we have been approached by numerous prospective clients that are committed to launching new marketing programs this year. In each instance, the client feels that they have “weathered the storm,” but now are fairly confident in renewing and expanding their marketing efforts.
As we move ahead, we look forward to an exciting year of working with our clients in achieving even bigger and better things. Have a great 2010.
Sincerely,
Gordon O’Neill
President and Chief Executive Officer
