What We Know
O’Neill Communications is pleased to announce that Devika Rao has been named president of the firm effective June 1, 2018 and she has become an equity partner in the interactive marketing and communications agency. To assure a smooth transition, Gordon O’Neill will remain active in the firm as Chair/President Emeritus and Nancy O’Neill will continue as CFO and Secretary/Treasurer over the next four years.
Devika and her management team are working towards full ownership in June 2022 and this promotion is an important step in assuring clients continuity in the management of their on-going marketing and communications programs. She has already injected innovative new thinking into the firm’s creative services and strategic capabilities and has launched a major initiative to expand the firm’s service offering and capabilities.
As founders of the firm, Nancy and I can state with confidence that Devika has proven herself to be a truly outstanding communications professional in her career and is fully engaged in the industry’s continued innovation and technological evolution. More importantly, she shares an unwavering commitment to our clients’ success and has the entrepreneurial spirit needed to see and act on new opportunities for both the firm and its clients.
She has been with O’Neill Communications since December of 2013 and has been serving as Vice-President of Account Services for the past three years. Devika earned her bachelor’s in journalism and political science from Penn State University after graduating from Dunwoody High School in the Atlanta metro area.
As an award-winning journalist, she has worked for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Khabar Magazine and Jezebel Magazine. She is on the board of directors of the Spruill Center for the Arts, Hands on Atlanta Changemakers and is active in both TiE Atlanta and the Georgia Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.
Please join us in congratulating Devika (firstname.lastname@example.org) on her new position and wishing her great success in the future.
