What We Know
December 6, 2016 (Atlanta, GA) –O’Neill Communications was recognized by the 2016 International Film and Video Festival and the 37th annual Telly Awards for its North Carolina Division of Public Health’s “Diabetes and Heart Disease Prevention” public service announcement (PSA) broadcast campaign.
O’Neill Communications received second place in the Silver Screen Awards for Corporate Public Service Announcements and the Bronze Telly Award in the Regional Market – Public Service category.
The advertising campaign was part of a bi-lingual public service campaign produced by O'Neill Communications under the supervision of Jen Sohl-Marion at NC Public Health. The ads followed two North Carolinians at risk for Type II Diabetes and heart disease who take control of their future by joining instructional classes that encourage smarter, healthier eating and more exercise. The PSAs were also produced in Spanish.
“Being recognized for creative excellence is an honor, especially in an industry that is overflowing with so much talent,” said Gordon O’Neill, president of O’Neill Communications. “The campaign took a lot of team work and we are proud to have our work recognized among literally thousands of entries from around the world.”
